Rumble upon hard acceleration
I searched the threads but didn't find anything similar to my question...
I'm pretty confident most folks don't drive their NX aggressively - I generally don't as well. However, on occasion, I do want / need accelerate hard... for example pulling into highway speed traffic and needing to be up to speed quickly.
EDIT: My '22 NX is the 350 F-Sport AWD Turbo (gasoline)
When I accelerate hard, I notice what I can only describe as a rumbling / low-frequency vibration in the floor (feet) and in my seat (butt). My hands feel no evidence of this through the steering wheel. This kind of thing is typically associated with a loose engine mount or something of that nature. Naturally, I'll take this in to be looked at. Unfortunately, it isn't something that can be picked up with a cellphone video.
I do want to ask if anyone has experienced this phenomenon. I'm pretty confident the dealer won't let me sample an on-the-lot NX 350 to see if the behavior is the same - maybe they will - but before I go, I want to check to see if anyone has experienced this.
Thanks so much!

so what did dealer technician say ?
So you went to the Lexus dealer and had the Lexus mechanic/technician ride along and observe the "rumble" So what did the Lexus mechanic/technician do to fix the problem?
YMMV,

Didn't experience it
Incidentally, I have done that quite a few times just to get a sense of how quickly (or not) the NX350h accelerates. I've done it no less that 10 times and everytime it's been smooth, save for the increased whiny noise of the engine. No vibrations, nothing if the sort.
Yours must be a one off. Good thing you're getting it checked out

Thanks for the replies everyone - I'll update once I have this looked at. It sounds suspiciously like a loose motor mount based on 40 years of driving and 29 vehicles worth of experience. This vehicle has at least one mount that is designed to dampen vibration and I bet a buck it is that one. We'll see if my instincts are right.

Please keep us posted. And if the dealer blows you off and tells you "it's normal", we could probably arrange a comparison between your car and mine if you were so inclined - I seem to recall you are local to me.

I'll update once I do go to the dealer, but I haven't been yet...

Update: Took my NX 350 F Sport in for 5K service today. Tech came back with the expected 'could not duplicate'... after conducting a ride-along with the tech, they know what I'm referring to and have acknowledged there is an issue, but they don't know what it could be. I was sent home with a '22 RX loaner which is just fine. I'll report back once a finding is sent to me. At this point I'm satisfied they haven't defaulted to 'they all do it' nonsense.
