Looking to put a battery pack in the trunk to power dashcam when car is off.

I am curious as to whether the 4 Euro 1 hour "subscription" would allow the entire PDF to be downloaded or if it is split up into small chunks

Best bet is to grab a multimeter and probe the fuses. If power shows with cat off, then that’s your battery fuse. If power shows only when car is on, then that’s your ACC fuse!

I’m looking to go with a similar install of battery (BlackVue 124x) in the truck and wanted to see if you were able to get yours tapped into the trunk fuse box.

if you use a hardware kit to tap into your car battery, it can last about 7-10 hours after its threads hold shutoff.
adding another battery really complicate things up, plus you have have upfront cost for the battery, wires to run from front to the trunk, and will you drive long enough to charge the car battery plus the battery pack?
