Default F Sport Option

For those who have gotten the F Sport, do you think it worth the money of ~$2K? I know people see value differently. I want your opinion.

For me, looks alone make it worth it. I just really prefer the front end on the F sport. So it's a yes for me!

I like the additional Sport modes but the reality is they get little use day to day.

The looks is one of the differences. The next is the adaptive variable suspension does make a difference in ride quality. So I would say if it's $2K, it's worth it. However, do look at the options to see if you are losing some features. I know the F-Sport does not get Advanced Park feature.

Another difference is in the front seat bolstering - depending on the configuration of your posterior, this could make a difference. It did for me - I wasn't inclined to buy the F Sport in the first place, but after sitting in one I knew for certain it wasn't for me.

Yep - that's worth commenting on for sure Dorsal! And for us it was the opposite. My wife LOVES the extra bolstering (and she is VERY MUCH not the target market for F sport...). I was pleasantly surprised how much she likes them. So yes, definitely sit in them for a bit.

I also noticed that the F sport came with HUD. I'm a big fan of HUD but a disappointed in the previous LX compared to other manufacturer. However, the 22"+ NX display does seemed to be more useful when it comes to the steering buttons displayed on the HUD, albeit, the HUD could use more brightness. Does anyone know if navigation is displayed on the HUD too?

Lsft, do know have additional info on the advance park feature? I've seen cars with the 14" display option have the surround view, but I think the 9.8" display only has backup camera. I find very few NX with the luxury package or have the 14" display.

Yes, F-sport is worth it. Just the seats alone is worth it as it hugs you much better than the regular seats. But then this also depends on your preference and body size.

The native navigation does have instructions to the HUD. Google Maps and Waze via CarPlay or AA does not seem to show up. I heard Apple Maps do show up, but I did not test it myself.

As with the advance park, the car can help park the NX which F-Sport models do not have this available as it requires additional sensors. The surround view is called Panoramic View Monitor and if it doesn't then you will only have the rear view camera.

In my opinion, absolutely its worth it. First the looks...the F Sport has the color matched painted fenders which looks awesome. Plus the grill is more aggressive looking. Second...the adaptive variable suspension is nice. You get two extra suspension dampers which can stiffen the suspension in Sport S and Sport S+ modes. I personally prefer the Sport S mode the best and usually drive in that mode. Go for it...you won't regret it.
