Didn't realize my warranty on my month and a half old 22 NX was so short. Thankfully Vehicle Services Division has been sending me notices about this. Today I got my third and final notice telling me the warranty has expired and I have till 12/22/22 to extend my warranty. Lexus really should up their game and give us longer warranties.

Do they really think people are that stupid to believe this? I guess there are some out there that do. Anyone else get these notices for their brand new cars ?

 

Sounds like you got one of those 'your warranty is about to expire' notices, not something from Lexus. Your new vehicle has a 4 year warranty. I've gotten these 3rd party notices on a 9yr old vehicle which was way out of warranty, and on a months old vehicle well within the warranty period.

 

In Canada the standard warranty is 4 years or 80K KM's (I didn't buy extended warranty).

How could your warranty be expiring in a few months after purchase? Almost every product on the market in North America has at minimum 1 year of warranty (phones, electronics, appliances, etc.)

But I haven't received any notices about expiring warranties.

 

I think this is scam to get you to buy extended warranty NOW. Wait! You are going to have much better extended warranty offers just prior to when your car factory warranty about to expire.

 

This "Vehicle Services Division" is a scam. I understand my warranties provided by Lexus. I also have received many extended warranty offers near the end of my vehicle manufacturers warranties. I'm just wondering how many people would fall for a notice saying your warranty has or is about to expire on a brand new vehicle. I guess I should have put <SARC> <\SARC> around my original post.

 

This email probably came from the same place that called me at least 30 times yesterday about "my Amazon package" and outstanding Taxes and duct cleaning.........

Thank you for getting my joke. People here thought I was not aware of the Lexus warranties. The first email I received from this scammer, I thought it was because I had not purchased the Lexus extended warranty. Upon further reading that said my warranty was about to expire, I then realized it was a scam. They wanted me to call a number and give them my VIN. After the third email I thought it was so funny I had to post here.

 

This thread seems a good place to post my new tshirt.

 

Your joke (and I did not get it) looks like very valid inquiry, compere to many others. Read enough posts on these forums, you will find what some people asking/commenting is like nothing, compare to your post.
