NX 2022 keeps asking for my PIN
#31
Just purchased 2023 Lexus and Enter Pin constantly comes up on screen, knocks off my navigation screen. Was told at dealership need an update but how long will that take. Sent a note to Lexus and they replied go back to dealership and they will fix it. Have talked with 3 techs at dealership and no one knows how to fix problem. If anyone knows how to get rid of Enter Pin on screen on my new Lexus please let me know. Thank you.

In an abundance of caution, are you folks with PIN issues absolutely certain that you've set up your profiles properly and that you've linked your profile to your Lexus key fob?
If you want to start over, this link will help. Pay particular attention to the Link your Key section starting at 6:43.

I've this issue within a couple weeks when 1st get the car. I've to remove / delete all the profile, reset all the Bluetooth and recreate the profile and it's all good after that.

Update
Here is an update on my situation. I am not getting as many PIN requests as a few weeks ago but they do pop up occasionally. It is frustrating as there seems to be no pattern to it. I am using all of the hints suggested here but nothing seems to consistently work. I also am getting the message that the wireless connection failed at different times. I don't know if it is related to the PIN request. I will have Lexus look at this when I do my 6 months maintenance. soon.

At the Lexus screen (not Android Auto or CarPlay) go to the setup, in there your should see your and others profiles, under the profile there's a "Delete this profile" option.
Delete them all, now go to the Bluetooth setting and Clear out (forget) all the existing phone in there.
Restart the creation of your profile, following these steps:

I know I have been all over this thread with my different experiences but here is the latest. I completed deleted my profile and deleted the Lexus app as well. I also deleted Lexus ("Forget this device") on the Iphone Bluetooth settings. Then I started completely over with scanning the VIN and the QR code. Sorry, I can't provide the exact steps I used to delete the profile and it was a little trial and error. When I reinstalled the app it appeared that there may have been a software update that I did not have before. So far I am not getting the PIN pop up as often. Occasionally will appear, usually at the start of a trip. This seems to happen after my wife has driven the car with the Guest profile. I am also still getting the Network Not Available pop up but only infrequently. I am careful about not starting the car until my profile has loaded. Hopefully, deleting and reinstalling my profile is the long term solution. It shouldn't be this hard though.

Just one more update. It has been another two weeks since my last post and I am not getting any Pin requests at all. I just installed the latest software ware updates and everything seems to be working as it should. So again the solution was apparently to completely delete my profile and start completely over again. This was a major irritant and so glad it is gone.

After nearly a year of trouble-free service, my car just started asking for my PIN - even though it recognized me, welcomed me by name and loaded my profile and settings. . I shall be keeping an eye on this.

@43sbest I pick up my 23 NX 450h+ Lux 12-15 April at Lexus of Melbourne. I sure hope that isn't the Florida dealer you are using. Then again, Lexus of Clearwater isn't any better either. I'd rather take it to my local no name garage to have work done. I'm sure he'll tell me if he can't handle it. Where are you located? Just curious.
