There is an "auto lock" setting where you can set the time. Mine is on 30 sec. but the car will not lock in 30 sec. or 3 hours and that's with both FOBs and the card key 30 feet from the car. Like everyone else I have to put my finger over the stupid sensor for the car to lock. The Engineer that came up with the "sensor locking" idea must have received his degree as the prize in a box of Cracker Jacks.
Anyone that has figured how to "auto lock" a 22,23 or 24 NX 350 or 450 please share your knowledge with the rest us dummies.

I am pretty sure this is auto re-lock and not automatic lock as I walk away. Auto re-lock is if I unlock door by mistake (key fob in pocket) and no one opens the door for the time set it will re lock the car. I have not found an auto lock section (for automatically locking as I walk away).

The auto relock feature only works if the vehicle is unlocked but none of the doors are opened within the specified lapse time and there's no key inside the vehicle, then the vehicle will auto lock itself.
When a door/hatch is opened, there is no auto lock feature.
It's like that by design. Nothing wrong with this concept.
