I've been trying to figure out how to adjust the turn signal auto blinkers on my NX 450h. The factory setting is 3 blinks when tapping the turn signal arm. I would like to reset this to 5 or even 7 rapid blinks at a time, but the way to adjust this is apparently not mentioned in the manual (or so they say).

There is a video on YouTube showing how to do this in a 2013-2015 Lexus GS 350 and this can work for other Lexus models, but there was a mention on several forums that this adjustment did not work for Lexus NX models. I have not tried YouTube sequence yet. Has anyone tried this on their NX yet?

I asked this same thing a while back and was told this is a dealer only adjustment. Carista supposedly will do this also. I've bought one but haven't tried it.

The dealer charged this for me. I set to 4 blinks.

One of those settings only the dealer can do. Last week had ours changed from the default 3 flashes which I think is to short to 5. Also had them change the key fob unlock button to when you hold it down for three seconds all the windows and moonroof open. Great on a hot day when approaching the vehicle.

On my previous 2016 RX350 there was an option on the screen setting that I can manually change it, I try to do that on my 2020 RX350 and there was no option to do so. Looks like I will get the technician to change it to 5 blinks for both our RX and NX on our next service.

My 2016 RX doesn't have that option for owner change. It is a dealer only change.

Hmm strange, you probably check it already but just curious did you check it on the setting screen by the speedometer? That’s where I was able to change it UNLESS Lexus did the software update and they got rid of that option. I was able to select it when I had it, my buddy change his signal to 5 times as well for his RX.

Based on the owners manual the 2016 RX turn signal customization is a Dealer only settings change: Page 700 + 707

I had the dealer change from default 3 flashes to 5 during the first Lexus complementary service.
