Default 60/40 split, power-folding heated rear seats

My Lexus Dealer is telling me that 60/40 split, power-folding heated rear seats are not available on the 2023 NX350 h? Does anyone know differently??

Mine is a 2023 Nx350h with the 60/40 - split power folding heated rear seats. Purchased in Southern California in Dec 2022.

They definitely exist, as we took delivery of a 23 NX350H, also built in Cambridge during mid December 2022 and have them. They were a $1020 option from what I remember. They work well and do as they say and it's convenient. My only comment on this is that your dealer probably could not find what you were looking for and just simply gave you that generic answer. From what I have seen prior to our 23 NX delivery, I have looked at almost over 50 NX350/350H factory window stickers (Premium, Luxury) in our area last year, and this option seems to be quite rare. Still feel like we have a unicorn NX in our area, but if you really want these in terms of allocation, your best bet is to go for the Luxury (highest trim in the U.S.) as it seems this option more than likely will be on the Luxury trim versus the Premium. Maybe this option exists on the Premium trim, but I personally have not seen it in my area.

Did a ton of research last year, and already had the expectation that we had to go with the Luxury trim in order to increase our chances of getting allocated with all of the options we wanted (triple beams, advance park, panoramic view monitor, pano roof, digital rear view mirror, folding rear seats). Not sure if that helps, but it's something to keep in mind when you're deciding on these extra features!

Good answer thank you. I agree with your comments. The dealer has a thousand-dollar deposit from me and is searching for or ordering (not sure which) a loaded Luxury model including power folding/heated rear seats. I told the dealer to take a harder look or I would find a dealer who would. The dealer said it could be a while and I said OK.

That's great! Now they have to work with you. In my experience at least, call them monthly or even weekly for a status update. Pretty sure they are searching for allocations since that's what Toyota/Lexus has been doing for a while now. Even better, if you're able to get in touch with the inventory manager at your dealer they will know the full details of what's expected to be coming down the line so you can better get an idea of timelines. Forgot where I read on here, but I think allocations are released every mid month or something like that. I was fortunate enough to have worked with an awesome sale associate while also pretty close with the inventory manager at my dealer and it definitely made this process less stressful. Good luck! Hopefully they will eventually find what your preferences are and it's well worth the wait.

We are in the proverbial driver's seat; I think? My deposit is fully refundable. My wife and I are both retired. The Lexus is for her. In the meantime, she drives a 2019 immaculate low mileage top trim level Hyundai SUV. We can wait for this large AutoNation Lexus dealer to find us the car we want. Me, I drive a 1997 Acura CL (since new). 330,000 miles. Looks showroom new.

Glad to hear! And now the waiting games begins. I think the NX will be great for you both if you don't need the space like a mid-size. I saw your other thread in terms of seat comfort too. I personally am driving the 2018 2.0T Accord Touring, so can imagine the CL being somewhat similar in terms of seating position where it is much lower than the NX, and sport-like. The Accord I have has adaptive suspension and even on normal, I used to think it was pretty comfortable, until I actually sat and experienced the NX, let alone the silence factor of a hybrid.

With the Accord in comparison of that to the NX and relative to what you have, I think you're going to find it much more comfortable with the seating position for long trips. So far the NX is very isolating, seats are plush and comfy but not like sagging so there is a firmness to it but not harsh, and the NVH is pretty much superior to what we have now and very quiet, and the run flats are in no case bad either compared to the 19" low profiles on the Accord (which I thought was quiet when I got it since they designed the rims to have a noise blocking feature, but the NX blows it out of the water when it comes to quietness even on the 20").

Our other vehicle is the 2012 CX-5 which we used to take on road trips but that's our beater car for now. The CX-5 seats were comfortable but to me that was with the seat position for long trips, haven't taken the NX for long trips but I know it's going to be far far superior. I do enjoy being chauffered in the NX though and I like sitting in the back seat because of the panoramic sunroof haha. Have you had the opportunity to sit in a non Fsport NX at a dealership?

For what it's worth we did sit in a new 350NX at the dealership. Very nice or so it seemed. As did the Acura RDX, the Infinity QX60, Caddilac ST5, and Lincoln Nautilus. When I sat down in the Lexus I was glassy eyed and my but was pretty much numb.
