Did the calipers fit on the og rotors or did you change everything? Anybody know if I can change just the calipers on the RX4?

Have to change rotors too.

What about the back? Are they the same brakes with different calipers or are the rotors different on those too?

Thumbs up

Nice write-up. Do you notice a significant difference in better braking ?

YMMV,

The rears are the same as these other models. It's only the front that you want to change.

Has anybody weighed the rotors and/or calipers vs. the stock NX equipment? I'm hoping that the OEM big brakes rotors would be at least equal since they have a 2 piece design with aluminum center.

Also how is the brake dust with these vs. stock?

Thanks!

Thank you for sharing this write-up. I love OEM bolt-on upgrades! IMO, this is almost a direct bolt-on since you need to drill the knuckle to accommodate the bolt. Probably a dumb question. Can the knuckle be replaced with the one from the RX or is it totally different from the NX?

I also wonder how regen braking will work with this on the PHEVs.

Works the same way. Had this on my RX450h.

Do you have to drill into the knuckle only on the NX or is that go for all knuckles other then the 500h?

RX knuckle is already large enough to accommodate the new caliper bolt, it's actually the same as our stock bolts.. This only applies to NX.

Thanks for the answers man, I appreciate it. Do you know if this changes what wheel offset we should be using for the RX?

Does anybody know the weight of the new 2 piece rotors vs. the originals? Rotational mass is an important factor to consider.

I believe they have both unpainted and black painted versions. black painted version is from the 23 RX500h
They're just 6 pot Advics caliper with 400mm x 36mm two piece Advics rotors.

Will work on:
2010+ Lexus RX 350/450H/450HL
2015+ Lexus NX 250/250T/300/300H/350/350H
2010-2019 Toyota Highlander
2011-2020 Toyota Sienna

Direct bolt on to the front.
You will need:
Both front caliper
Both front rotors
Both front pads
pin kit for each caliper
brake lines from each caliper
OEM caliper bolts. they're m14x1.25x35mm bolts from lexus.

100% OEM and bolt on. will need a minimum of 20" wheels.
all part numbers should be below

edit: made some changes on the information.

Do you think this would work for 19-24 Lexus ES?
