Default NX450h+ water in charging and gas portlet

Hi,

We had a rain yesterday, when I open the charging portlet and saw there were some water, even though my lid was closed. Same with the Gas portlet.
Any one has problem? Any concern here?

Thanks

oftentimes I have some rain in the j1772 port, just dry it out before connecting.

Yes..... Just dry it off with a hair dryer and you'll be good.... This happens with a lot of the H vehicles because the power port door for the h vehicles is not watertight

Thanks all, it kind of bad design. The door is right below thr curve so it slightly slide water in the gap.

Same thing happens when I wash the car water is always in both the gas and electric port areas. I always keep the caps on both ….don’t know if that’s a design problem

Neither is sealed with weatherstripping, so some water will get into the general area. Just be sure to keep the caps on both.
