Default NX 450H+ Still. Waiting

9 months still waiting here in Ontario no contact from my Dealer on updates, makes me wonder if I should move on from my 1st Lexus purchase.

I know the feeling, we were at 8 months last month waiting for a 450h+ F Sport, but a few weeks ago, I kept looking online daily at nearby dealerships websites in my state (Texas). By chance that night, I found a listing for a 450h+ F Sport that I haven't seen anywhere so it was definitely a new listing. It was at a Lexus location 3 hours from me that's not as traffic heavy as its sister dealership in Austin, TX, but still does good numbers. I called the next morning to see if anyone claimed it. The sales person said There was a guy that claimed it that night, but the next morning he decided that he wanted the new RX. So, she sold it to me and it arrives at the end of this month. I guess they didn't have much of a waiting list. Usually listings on dealership pages are pre-sold, but don't give up. I almost did, but constantly looking everywhere finally landed me one. Just be patient and wait it out, or try what I did for the time being.

It was 9.5 almost 10 months for me. You're almost there, you'll be happy when you get it (plus the rebate!)

A colleague of mine got his 350h in December after waiting 11 months. From what I understand in Ontario the 450H+ is in much shorter supply. At 9 months, my gut feel is that you probably are not even halfway thru your wait.

The 450H inventory is limited and on top of that 60% is reserved for Quebec and BC. That's what I was told from my dealer, which is why i decided to move on to the 350H. Hope things change and i know the wait can be frustrating. It took 9 months just to receive the 350h.

Many people waited 9 months for the regular hybrid option so what did you expect when you went with the even more limited option?

Hang in there. You will get there. I got super annoyed after waiting for over a year and heavily consider Model Y, then just before I'm leaving for Japan this week. Lexus contact me with a build date in March.
The best solution is just forget about it. On the bright side, the longer you wait, the chance interest rate will drop is higher, right?

If you really want it you can call dealers and find cars. In Last year I bought 2 450s but the first one I had to really search in CA for a dealer. I noticed from the listings that CA seemed to get the most 450s - so that is where I focused. Now the supply is better - I suggest calling dealers in NY, MA, NJ, and CA and you can find cars. Buying cars is starting to get back to normal as the supplies start to improve but for the 450 it will be a while because it is in demand - but cars are out there.

I prefer to purchase a 450H+ in Ontario Canada.

I didn't. get any indication from my dealer in June when I put down the deposit that it would take a year nor did they steer me to the Hybrid model. The only indication was because I ordered the executive package it would come quicker. So no I did not expect it would take 9 months or longer.
