We have a 2017 RX 450h and Dec 2022 bought a 2023 NX 350h. No the NX is not quieter than the RX. It was not last generation of NX. It is quiet however and Alex on Autos probably best YouTube reviewer rated the 2023 NX an A- on cabin noise.

I agree about the mirrors and the BSM. But, as I think I mentioned somewhere else on this thread, we do a "trust, but verify" with the BSM and use those little non-adjustable spot mirrors to actually see the blind spots. Something electronic like the BSM system can always fail. But unless they fall off, or get covered with ice/snow, the mirrors will always work. The may not look the best, but we'll pay that price to know what's there.

No blind spot problem in our 2023 NX either with or without the BSM system.

No problem with blind spots, don't use the BSM system. As far as what's behind, the digital system handles it perfectly.
