Brake caliper painted - pictures
Just curious if anyone else may have painted their NX brake calipers. I decided to try G2 High Temperature Brake Caliper Paint System for about $38 bucks from amazon.com. Following the manufacturer directions to the letter, I achieved excellent results and with minimal mess compared with using spray paints. I did unbolt the calipers from the bracket and hung them using coat hanger wire without disconnecting the brake fluid lines.
Power coating would cost me nearly $400 bucks. Here are a few close up pictures of the front and rear. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )
Enjoy,
Ray

I mean BBK = Big Brake Kit
A 6-9 piston setup with a 15-16" rotor.
Will most likely require a different wheels also, probably 20" and a small offset.

Love it! I was just thinking about painting mine Red since I have an Ultra White F Sport. I had used the red Rustoleum Automotive 257169 Caliper kit from Amazon on a different car and it turned out pretty good, although not as bright of a red as I had hoped. Maybe I will give the G2 a try. Thanks!

There is a mod someone did to the rear brake calipers of their GS (which looks similar to the brake calipers on the NX). They ordered a brake cover from Acura, painted it, and installed it to cover the space in the middle to mimic a BBK. Might be something worth considering. I agree that painting these tiny calipers doesn't do much for the car.
