Default Removing Rear Trunk Panels

Hey everyone,

I was trying to install an amp/sub in my car last night and got most of it done (that grommet through the firewall sucks by the way). The only part I couldn't figure out is how to remove the passenger side trunk panel (the side without the 12V) so I can tap the signal from the amp for the line out converter. I was able to remove the top area where the seatbelt goes and the grocery hook easily. I also was able to pop it out just a smidge but there was still a bit of resistance that I was uncomfortable just yanking on to rip everything out.

Anyone know how to or any tricks how to get it off? Or should I just run the line out converter from the rear of the headunit - i'd like to keep it localized would rather avoid opening up the dash as it looks fairly complicated.

Thanks in advance!

This piece? Unfortunately you need to pull a bunch of stuff all around it to get it out...

The grommet is easy and so is the panel on the side

Hate to jack your thread, but what about the a-pillar housing, what do I need to remove to hide cables behind it? I'm worried about the cable getting in the way of the side airbags in the event that they get deployed. Thank you, all

Amp kill switch
Sub volume control next to the steering wheel.
You can sort of see the kill switch in relation to the sub.
sorry for the double post!
