Carista app information (Merged Threads)
All:
I was able to successfully use the free version of the Carista iPhone app to check my NX for faults (of which there were none) and (with the $19.99 Pro version of the app) modify whatever "dealer-only" Lexus Personalized Settings I wished. The application connected very easily to the OBDII device and worked flawlessly.
Incidentally, for the iPhone, make sure you purchase a wifi OBDII adapter (rather than a bluetooth one, which won't work). I used this one:

Interesting. I've been curious about this.
Is this one compatible with the carista app? It says for torque app but are the devices app specific?
**sorry, I've an android phone.

From their website:
Plus, with version 2.0, we’ve added support for non-OBD2 (manufacturer-specific) diagnostics, including things like ABS, airbag, navigation, HVAC, etc. This means that beside the “CHECK ENGINE” light, you can also diagnose and reset your airbag light, ABS light, etc. if your vehicle is one of the supported models from Toyota, Lexus, Scion, VW, Audi, Seat, or Skoda.

We're in the process of adding that one for the NX. We already have it for many other Lexus models. It should be available in one of our upcoming beta-test versions and after that in our next official release.
Yes, it will
