Help! Has anyone bought a car (less than 7500 miles) from out of state?
Hi,
I live in Bay Area, CA and planning to buy a used car from New Jersey. Here is my question..... The car has 4500 miles on it. I called DMV last week and they told me that if i buy any car from out of state has less than 7500 miles on it, I have to get some kind of certifcaite which is very difficult to get. Does anyone knows what is that? I thought i only need to get smoke check done here and pay for DMV fee etc if i buy out of state.
Also, Can someone tell me what is the procedure i need to do once the car ship here??? like do smoke check etc???
