Default Installer Recommendation for HID Conversion in Orange County CA

Does anyone have a recommendation on an installer in my area?? I am going to purchase either the XenonDepot or ProXenon 6000K conversion kits and may want someone to install it for me. Also, my understanding is that the ProXenon kit will require a fuse upgrade on the head lamps. Should I be concerned on frying the wiring harness if a problem arises with the equipment.

Thanks...

If San Gabriel isn't too far from you, I'd suggest:

Kembo Corp
941 S San Gabriel Blvd
San Gabriel, CA
(626) 292-7660

Tell Calvin (the owner) the guy with the white '91 LS400 from Club Lexus sent you. It'll cost around $50-70 depending on how difficult the job is, but they do an excellent job of installing HIDs...it's a very clean and unnoticeable install.

I have ProXenon, which I installed myself. Works beautifully. Each lamp has it's own 10 amp fuse. There is no need to change fuse size.

I'm also looking into a HID conversion kit. I am on the fence though between 4300K or 6000K. I am looking for a pure white, but don't want the blue hue that most "fake" halogens bulbs give.

Which is closer to true daylight white? 4300K or 6000K?

Also and good installers in or near San Jose?

Thanks,

Donovan

Electro.....

I too, would go for 4300K if I was to do it again, because of the higher lumens. However, the 6000K is whiter and closer to daylight.

Both Xenondepot and ProXenon have good HID kits, the only thing is which company is more responsible!!
Anyway, I have the Philips 6000K from Xenondepot which works GREAT (See my picutre). And as I recall last time, they still have some H11kits ready to ship out! E-mail them first!!

Schiff.....

When I ordered my kit from ProXenon, I asked about installers. They gave me a name and city of a shop that handled their products. I believe it was in Orange County.

I am ready to order me HID Kit, and XenonDepot has no installer referral for the Seattle area. Does anyone know any good installer around the Seattle area?

Thanks,

Have you tried contacting your dealership? Speak to the service guys.. They usually have contacts. I doubt you are the first lexus owner that has wanted to modify his/her vehicle.

In regards to which kit to get, DavidsGX has brought up a good point - which one is resposible... You are making an online purchase so you want to make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company.

I personally have the Philips based (XenonDepot) kit installed on my car.

I got the 4300k kit. I wanted the maximum possible light output.

If you guys are interested in buying 100% authentic Phillips 6000K hid kits for only 475.00 shipped, email sales@kwimports.com. He normally sells them for 495.00, but he offers CL a discount when you tell him that "BRYAN" referred you. HOpe that helps.
