this is good idea? I'm looking into the 5psi kit for my SC..... they are supposedly selling for around $500 on ebay. How much do you think it would ACTUALLY cost to throw on the 5psi kit? and would it be reliable? thanks man!

looks good, i'd wanna see pics of the setup. dont expect too much either its only 5 psi. but any more than stock is better right? . as for how much to have it installed? i really dont know beacuse i've never used the kit. but it should be pretty straight forward, no computer programming, the main issues are gonna be some light fuel mods and gettin the new pully bracket mounted. but thats basically it. i'd definatly say bring it to the dyno and see what the air/fuel looks like, ya dont wanna blow anything up right......? hit me up if ya need anything!

yeah I expect fuel mods, I also am planning on doing a few other things to bullet proof the motor before. Ever done a supercharger install yourself? another thing....(dorry you're the mechanic here) I have a raw fuel smell whenever i start my car when it's cold, I think it is my ECU, think I should replace it? if so, do you know how to?

Those supercharges just doesnt fit the 1UZFE's stock intake manifold.
You still have to get a custom intake manifold to mount the supercharger on and
ofcourse like you said, the necessary fuel, and ignition mods.

You are looking to spend around $1-2000 on parts alone, not including the labor.

Just make sure you do some more research before buying a supercharger without
knowing what else you need to get it on the motor.

If you are planning on spending that much, might as well go with the
Vortech supercharger route, that Lextreme offers.
