My mechanic will charge me by the hr, for custom work(non-OEM).
So roughly 2hrs and less than $200. But it might go up, depending on how easy the headers come out.

Im leaning towards a muffler shop, since there in it day in, and day out. hehehe

Ill let you know which way I went, in less than a few weeks

I have a couple friends that are ASE certified Master techs, and do alot of sidejobs. I've referred quite a few people from the forums to them for everything from supercharger installs to 60K maintenance, and everything in between like BBK and sways. When they do suspension work like camber arms, coilovers, etc... they can also do an alignment on the rack. It usually ends up being 1/2 what other shops charge, if not less.

Just PM me if you're interested.

I found out there's Kansai Motorsports in Seattle but I haven't seen any reviews on that.

The reviews online said XAS wasn't good but people here suggest it.

Les Schwab does car lowering but I don't know if they're good or not for that.

I wouldn't suggest you les schwab for car lowering, they're only good for tires. Although even tires I would be a little weary on it. I afraid of them scratching the rims and what not.

Yeah I didn't think they'd be good. Maybe chain shops get a bit sloppy on things.

For me I'll continue looking around a bit more but I will consider looking into Car Nutz among the other locations listed here for modifications I can't do. One buddy I know does his own installs like lowering so I thought I could get him do mine but from talking to him it doesn't sound like he wants to do any of mine.

I forgot to mention that they're all current or former Toyota techs too, with about 25yrs of Toyota service dept. experience between the 3 of them.

That was true in the past. But the new owner of XAS is trying to get it back on its feet. All new employees. His name is JET, and I am going through him for my suspension install.

He also owns an IS300 with 20"s
He has coilovers with air cups(air force one's)
