Most reviews are positive, better than the other three movies.
Some say it lacks enough car scenes though.
Where are you reading your reviews?! haha. Typically I go to Rottentomatoes.com and they are usually spot on with how I feel about a movie. They were a bit generous with F&F by giving it a 23% if you ask me though Maybe I am just a bitter old man.

hit it head on. It's more of a movie with cars in it than a movie about cars. They never focused on any of the cars except Dom's Challenger and Chevelle and Paul Walkers Skyline (which they never even talk about, they just show it). Although the story line in general is better. The car's are constantly switching and you never really get to get good looks at them, a lot of quick, multiple-angle camera views and then they zoom off. However, what really killed it for me was the stunts with the cars. I'd have to say they beat the cars up more in this one then any other F&F (except maybe for Tokyo Drift) and the cars are still flawless after driving down a 20 foot embankment, through log fences, and off of a ledge, that's how F$F have always been, it just seems to take that aspect a little further this time. At least they didnt use the blow-off valve noise a million billion cajillion times like in F&F2. They also have a wider variety of cars in this one. They have a couple modded dually flatbed trucks, a lot more muscle cars, imports.
I'd say its worth seeing matinee just to see it once, but in the end its still corny, unrealistic F&F, theres just more of a movie story line to this one and less about the cars.
