Default New to Las Vegas

So whatsup CL fam. I just recently (this past Monday) moved from my home of 24 years, Baltimore (BMore) to Las Vegas, Henderson to be precise. My car will arrive this Wednesday and I'm itching to cruise the local area and meet up with other CL members to see how you guys do it out west. I don't have a job yet but have been looking and applying feverishly. If anyone has any openings at their place of business lmk and I'll send you my resume .

Here's my ride if you've never seen it.

The car a more rock chips on it that usual from daily driving and riding dumped. From what I've seen of the area I should be able to get around pretty easily without worrying about scraping or worse but if anyone can advise me on areas where a car that is 3" off the ground shouldn't go just lmk.

If anyone has free time to meet up next week just PM me or post up. See y'all around.

welcome to vegas. you'll have a hard time avoiding rock chips. some city's have grass and trees. we have rocks. as far as scraping goes, every casino has speed bumps. i'm not as low as you are and i scrape every once in a while. you'll want to stay away from parking garages.

Yeah I met David at SEMA last year. He's taken me around a few times already and we went to a small meet last night. Definitely want to meet up with some other CL people also.

Naw not sponsored by GReddy. I just use that to cover a rock chip. . I had a Supra BBK but sold it new a few years ago. Needed funds for something else.

Welcome to the City man! You moved at the perfect time of the year, right before the heat comes and ravages the desert.

Everyone in Vegas is real chill, and its pretty tight knit community. If you find a job let me know, I've been applying like crazy myself.

...hopefully we can organize a meet sometime soon.

Yeah the weather is great right now. I know all about the summers here and just trying to get myself ready for it.

David says everyone is chill and I'm definitely looking to meet the locals and make friends over here. I just need to stay on track and look for jobs everyday until I find something.

I'm looking forward to a meet and soon.

Thanks Mang. Hold NELOC NYC down and be sure to go to meets. Keep the scene tight back east.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure we'll meet up at some point or another. I used to be an account manager along with a lot of other titles. If you like I can send you my resume. Just PM me you email addy. I'll just have to deal with the heat. It's definitely better than the cold.

Angry

So some hating *** Las Vegas b*****s decided to egg my car last night. I went bowling with my gf and some of her friends at Sam's Town Casino. After 3 hours of beating the crap out of them I come out to the parking garage to find that my car has been egged from front to back. Talk about f***ing pissed . Good thing it was night time or else that s*** would have baked in the sun only causing further damage to the paint. I drove 5 min down the street to a 24hr car wash and pressure washed the egg off. But most of it didn't come off with that or the scrub brush they have there. It took a lot of elbow grease to finally get it all off. There are scratches in the paint of the trunk lid and I'm sure there are some in my hood, but it was too dark to see. I'll check later today but I just don't want to even look at the car right now. S*** like this don't happen back home. Is this something I should expect whenever I take my car out at night?
