Default Intro...

hello everybody I am new to the forum and the lexus world, I thought I'd let you guys know a little about me.

I've been around cars my whole life, Ive owned a WRX, E36 M3 and now my 05 LS430.

I also have a very heavily modded AE86, I have a greatly detailed knowledge on coilovers, 14 15 and 17inch wheels but when it comes to air suspension and 20 inch wheels I am still learning.

any good tips would be greatly appreciated

heres the 86

and heres the all stock UCF31

I plan on getting UAS kit possibly with some coilovers rather then using stock struts. For appropriate fittment/ride will I need adjustable control arms or anything else?

Welcome to the CL! Love to see another LS430 locally. I may or may not have seen your Hachi as I used to own 86 and went to several meets on hr.net.

oh... if you are interested in the air set up, check out the vendor section group buy or LS430 forum.

See you at the future meets!

Hey Dennis, cool intro! Nice ls430 you got there, welcome to CL! Whenever your free, you should definitely come out to the meets and chill out with us. I would love to meet new people and see some more different types of ride.

I think air runner is a good setup to go with but with their pricey price tag, there's also UAS but that's not the full kit, you'll need the struts and stuff, there's also k sports that JP2SEA is talking about and the vendors on this forum is doing a sale. I also think you should get tint on your LS it would really set off the look of the car. I don't know, hope what I told you was helpful and not just me rambling off hahaha lol.

welcome to the club dennis,
proper intro! its good to see another local LS, and from the way it sounds it looks like you are going to VIP route as well.. as lexveryg8 said airrunner is a very reliable brand to go if you have the funds for them.. however there are more companies that are coming out with more affordable kits, such as Ksport, airforce, and UAS.

good luck with the new project.. it will be great to see it fixed up!

thanks everyone... the trueno wasn't built to drift its more of a back roads ripper, but it loves to slide haha
The celsior is for sure a vip style car, not true gangster vip but i have a vision that will blow many minds.

I have been leaning toward the UAS kit because I will be able to adapt the kit on some coilovers, which mean putting that **** on the GROUND!

And then I was wondering if anyone has put 19 on there LS430's like 19X10F, 19X12R but I am afraid the 19 will look stupid when the car is driving...
the flip side to 19's would be wider wheels, lower offsets, and putting the car lower. You guys know of any pics with air and 19's?

Welcome and you have nice rides!! I think I have seen your celsior before. Im not good with names though.

19's are a good setup. I will pm you another site, so that you can get the VIP look your going for. Everyone has different opinions on air sus. Many say UAS is cheaper. But in reality, depending on the setup your going for. UAS, AirRunner, AirForce1, Ksport is about the same price across the board. +-$1000 from each kit. Unless you go with a GB.
I have AirRunner on my IS3. It goes real low, but not frame low. The front hits the fender well, if you have big wheels. But the rear tucks oh so nicely.

What part of WA do you live at?
