just wondering is anyone knows a good installer in my area.

I am clueless to all this and would like to see about the Ipod integration.

Also, I have a PG500.2 amp + Kicker Solobaric woofer and not sure if it is worth installing in my Lexus...

I would suggest Foss car audio 3732 S Cedar St, Tacoma, WA 98409 (253) 474-8696 I've bought several things from there and they've been cool each time. Decent prices too. As for the amp and sub you have. Well, I would go up a step or 2. Don't get me wrong, that stuff is decent but you have an IS250. So I would go with say, an L7 and a monoblock amp or something in that range. But it all depends on what you're looking for. Do you want to beat down the block or do you just want a decent sounding stereo. All up to you. GL!

I wouldnt go to FOSS, shady peeps there. Yeah, they are great in getting you what you want, but not installing.

I dont know many shops around spanaway that will do a great job. And its a Son&Dads business, and they have been around for a long long time. At least 15+ yrs. Let me do some searching around here, cus they moved and I havent been to there new place yet.

So I went to 38th & Cedar (Foss Audio) and spoke with the guy there about installing my VAIS ipod integration & a sub/amp. I think he seems like he can do a dcent job but the 2 things he said kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

1st... when he told me $150 for the VAIS install, I just said "wow". He turned and said, "it is not that simple of a job and besides, this is not a Honda". And then as I was leaving, he said "the price is cheap"....

I would have felt better if he had been more personable and not made comments like he did. Maybe I am having a bad day, but oh well.

I will try Federal Way Cartoys and if they are the same, will go with them.

will do. I went to Cartoys and was quoted $275 or $315 depending on the guage of the amp wires.

that is for install of the Vais and install of my amp/woofer with adjustment ****.

I dont have the number on hand, but call them and ask for Jett. He installs, like its his own car he is working on. He also has a Modded IS300 that he takes to shows.
