Default Anybody here from Eugene?

Decided to buy a GS400 over an E46 but haven't been able to find one in the PNW for a decent price and condition. In the meantime, though, I was hoping to at least test drive to see what they are all about. On top of that, if I do get one it would be cool to meet some Lexus members other then the friends I have that have a Lexus now.

Thanks.

WELCOME! Well I think there are several people from Oregon but the majority of us are up here in Washington. And good choice on cars. And a GS4 of all things, niiiiice. What's the price range you're looking for? I'm sure we could give ya a hand on finding one.

Thanks. I'd really like something like a 2001 328 but I own both German and Japanese cars now and you can guess which one has never had problems. I'm sure a GS has issues but not like an E46 does.

I'm kind of lost for pricing. KBB says a good 1999-2000 GS400 is worth about 6-7k private party. However, the few that are for sale are closer to 10k. So while I know what I'm looking to spend I have no idea what these are actually worth. There was a really nice GS for sale in Portland for 6500 but it sold in two days. So at least my common sense says not to go above 7k based off what I've seen and read. In terms of what I'm looking for obviously I'd like to find one that has everything, Tiptronic, heated seats, etc.

Thanks for your help.

Ah ok, we'll find you something. But the GS400 is gonna worth alot more then the 300. And it the GS has pretty good value still so we'll just have to look around. Are you gonna cash it out or finance, because that could also be a factor.

Cash. Money talks so I imagine I can get a good deal on one given the right person/dealership.
