I'm kind of amazed how most of the people that daily don't have a set of snows tires for the winter... we do live in the NW haha. I used blizzaks ws50 for my is300, I loved driving around in snow with them, I went up steep iced hills that most cars wouldn't dare try. since I don't daily my is300 anymore, I bought a set of michelin x-ice 2 tires for my daily integra, hopefully they are just as good as the blizzaks.

I dont see much snow, unless Im at the mtns snowboarding. Then I just throw on some chains and call it good. Once I get below snow level, I take them off and coast threw the wet pavement.
When the roads are iced, it doesnt matter what tires your running with. Your still gonna slip and slide. Speaking of slip and slide, I had one of those Slip N Slide deals when I was a kid. I was running and sliding on one of them, and slipped threw it and almost into the street. Then we had to move it back further, so no one got hurt. Just to be a kid again, I am willing to go buy one of them again...Ah, who am I kidding
