Default WA/OR area Looking for a Transmission shop to do a conversion on an IS300

I am going to be doing an auto to manual conversion on my car. I dont have the tools to do it and I have no idea what I am doing
This is why I am looking for a shop.

So far, this is what I have come up with...

Ill Tech in Tacoma. They are packed with project cars already. Will have to force my way in to get my car done. Even then, it might be months till its finished lol

U.P. Garage in Univ. Place. A Nissan shop that I wouldnt know if they work on Lexus. Havent called them

Intec Racing in ?? Anyone heard of there work?

Drift Office in Auburn. Can anyone chime in on these guys?

Thanks for reading

Doug at UP Garage is awesome. I'd trust him with my car no questions. Definitely give him a call to see if he'd be up to it.

So far, this past week, Emilio/Will and I went and ventured into a couple shops to do a transmission conversion on my IS300. Its going from an auto, to manual.

I will give you a bit of my experience, on how I felt their customer service was. So far, everyone I went to had great customer service, with ample amount of info with experience to back it up.

So onto each of the shops I went to...

IllTech, a bit high priced at $90/hr. I know Jett, one of the installers. Great guy and will work on your car, like its his own. Will go there for small stuff, but no big projects.

IntecRacing, very knowledgeable and a good price at $80/hr. Knew what I wanted and have experience on a lot of projects. Will be visiting them in the near future for all performance stuff.

U.P. Garage, very knowlegeable and will work on any Nissan/Mazda out there. At $85/hr, will definitely look there way again. If I ever own a Nissan/Mazda

Forward Motion, will work on your car, if you let them. Thats all I have to say for them. Cant remember if it was $80 or $85/hr.

Theres another shop in University Place that we went to, just cant reember the name, if my life depended on it. Will/Emilio, will you chime in on the name. They only deal with Hondas/Acuras. Nothing more, cus I asked if they worked on any other cars out there. Their response was, we only try to focus on one particular make, and dont really know anything more. So this shop is only good if you are a Honda/Acura owner as well
