Lexus Corporation Greedy
#20
It's true that it is just a financial obligation and there is no loyalty factor from what the OP has mentioned. Lexus has many clients, and to keep track of all of them would be quite time consuming and costly at that. That being said, my dealer, which I've used to get many of my family to purchase Lexus vehicles from (with a "loyalty" discount), continually sends me birthday wishes to me. Salespeople are constantly asking me about my life on a more personal feel. I didn't expect any of that to happen when I purchased my Lexus, but it was a gratifying feeling. It's not Lexus as a corporation that doesn't care, but it would be wrong to demand a thank you note for paying your car off. It's no different from paying a credit card bill off, so why should Lexus be held to a different standard?
