Default WA-Looking for mechanic in Tacoma

I know this is a long-shot, but can anyone recommend a good (affordable) mechanic or shop in the Tacoma, WA area?
Thanks in advance!

I would be interested in this as well. I recently picked up a '92 LS400 and it needs some work that's beyond my ability to do.

Thanks!

My tech that I go to works at Lexus of Fife and does jobs on the side as well at his place. I get all my services done through him. If you want his number PM me.

Hey Jussjoshin.....I gotta get in touch with you as I haven't found a trusted shop in Oly to work on my car. It would be nice to be able to drop my car off when I am at work and pick it up after........

My current tech lives out on South HIll and sometimes its a hassle but I trust him and he charges cheap.

I work at hawks Prarie automotive so you're always welcome to bring your car here. Their prices are a little on the high side though. If you need something more towards the west side, above & beyond is good and they have the cheapest labor in town. Terry's automotive is also on the west side but I'm not too sure about their techs. I haven't had too much experience with them but theyve been around FOrEVER

For non Lexus-specific work, I use Walt's in Olympia. I know what you're thinking. Walt's?
I wouldn't use any other Walt's, but the one in downtown Oly is a great shop.
The techs know their stuff, and they are a very honest business.

I once took my car in expecting to need new brakes. They found a plastic cup stuck between the caliper and rotor. Charged me 1/2 hour labor and all was good. (They could have screwed me on that one, as I was sure the brakes were shot).
I've had many other good experiences with them, as well.

I haven't had a Lexus-specific issue that I've had them deal with yet, but for "general maintenance" stuff, they do a good job. They're quick and affordable.

Anymore inputs to this? Just trying to get some work done on my car but I'd like to get a few quotes before I commit.

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the site and to WA. I have an 02 ES300 that needs some work and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Tacoma area. I PM'd sway162 but I haven't received a response. Thanks in advance for your help.
