Bay Area Mini-meet @ Speedring
OK,
I'tried my best to accomodate everyone's input in order to keep the attendance up and also sync up with the track time availability.
Please vote on a day and time to help finalize this mini meet at Speedring, which is located 5 minutes from Great America off HWY 101.
Participating in Kart racing is not a requirement, so your free to just hang out in the parking lot or watch the racing action. The wheather forecast is currently for no rain

REQUIREMENTS:
Make sure to arrive no later than half an hour after the posted times or you will miss orientation which is required before you can race. You also need time to suit up. Make sure to wear closed toe, sneaker type shoes & clean underwear. Atleast your underwear should be clean before you race !
DESCRIPTION & COST:
No experience is required and you will be provided with a Helmet, driving suit and gloves. There will be a 5 minute qualifying race to determine starting position, followed immediately by a 20 minute enduro race. Believe me, the 20 minute adrenaline rush will be difficult to get out of driving your Lexus. Cost is $50 and worth every penny. Sorry for the stiff price, but the shorter $20 runs are not available.
FOOD:
Within 2 minutes of the track is a Carl's, Denny's, El Torito & Micky D's so once we have a day and time set, we'll see if there is interest in meeting somewhere for dinner, otherwise we'll just pick up some food to eat out in the Speedring parking lot. There should be ample space to park together. There is a snack bar at Speedring as well.

I know we lost Redgs4, hopefully no one else?
What to do next:
Please go ahead and make your reservations for the 8:30 SPRINT RACE by calling on Monday at (408) 567-9952. They will take your credit card number and reserve you a slot.
You can choose to wait until you get there, but YOU MAY NOT have an open spot available, so I strongly suggest that you book in advance.
If you just want to hang out and watch that's fine too.
What else do you need to know:
We are doing the SPRINT RACE, NOT OPEN PRACTICE.
The preparation is the same except the race length is different.
