We will be karting at LeMans on Thursday, August 28, NOT Sept 28.

There will be a practice and sprint race session reserved for around 7pm. We will meet at Pizza Depot afterwards, at around 8:30 pm and stay till closing (10pm).

All are welcome to participate in karting (practice or race) or just hang out at Lemans or Pizza Depot.

Please respond to this thread if you are interested in participating in either the practice session or sprint race . Reservations must be in by August 25. No walk ins.

I just realized that I should get everyones First name and Last Name Initial so that you will be "on the list" when you check in at Lemans. Also let me know if you are looking at the Sprint Race or Practice.

I just realized that the karting date is supposed to be for Thursday, August 28, NOT Sept 28.

I think a lot of the regulars knew that karting is ALWAYS on the last Thursday of each month, so that's probably why my error was not caught.

So to reiterate, we are karting THIS COMING Thursday.

Sorry for confusing anyone. Please let me know if that changes your availability.

 

Is the price the august special? $50?

 

We did the same special last month too, so I assume it will be the $50 special again this month. With the current heat spell and the length of time you will be running on the track, you will be toast after the run.

What an adrenaline rush though.

 

Yes it is very fun. But then again, I'm a very cheap person. I consider LeMans to be a good once in a lifetime kind of event. If there's going to be any meets that don't involve money but gas and oil, I'll probably go.

Btw, did you go to the PLP opening? I saw a couple of silver gs. Mine was the sc300. Sucks how the supercharger won't fit my car yet I have nearly the same engine as IS3.
