Question Chrome Plating

Has anyone ever used the services of Classic Components or California Chrome?
I have some wheels that need chrome plated and these are my two choices.
I'm trying to decide which company to use. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I got my tt wheels chromed at Cal. Chrome. They did an excellent job and cust. service was above average. My only complaint, and it is small is this. I asked that the toyota lettering and the size numbering on the wheels be ground off so it it smooth all the way around. They didn't take it all the way down. But hey, these letters and numbers are very small and you can't even notice without looking very closely. Also, there may be a reason why they couldn't be ground down all the way.
Anyway, I give them a

I got my wheels stripped, polished, chromed, etc, and shipped all for $600
Oh yeah, 2 year warranty also

Oh, just looked at the other place and remembered they were my 2nd choice. I didn't go with them since they only had a one year warranty. They do have a 5 layer process (instead of 3), but I didn't think it would make that much of a diff. and opted for the warranty instead.

I think either one would be good, but I would go for Cal. Chrome in the end. Ppl on supraforums recommended them to me, that's also why I chose them.

Good luck

I called all over the place, literally a dozen places across the US to compare chroming. The absolute cheapest I found was $125 per wheel, but I had to pay shipping BOTH ways. There goes the money you saved. Besides that, the people weren't all that nice and willing to talk. It sounded like they ran the operation out of their garage.
Go with a place that is well known and people can say good things about.
