We should try to make a run up thru Ortega Hwy (74) thru the hills. We could meet up in Murrietta and then make the run to the other side and back again. Also got some good photo op places along the way. Just an idea. Maybe GunnerMac can pick a location for us to meet up that way if he is willing to participate in this?

Ortega Hwy
Yea, the ortega hwy would be a great drive... So far though I think it is you and I Papa, I am bringing my buddy who has an es300... do you have anyone coming with you? Has anyone ever been up to the Glen Ivy hot springs? I went last weekend.. that would be a fun trip to put together.

What day are we going to do this so the other members will have an idea and can join in? Come on partners an Ortega Hwy run will be diffrrent and should be alot of fun. Thom give us a date and lets see if we can make this happen.

Is Sat. good?
What does everyone think about Sat.? Papa do you know the Ortega route? I am not familiar with it. I have been a passenger on a BMW run through there, but don't remember the specifics. It is a great drive. Anyone interested can also reach me on my Cell... 760-470-9423... At any rate... How does Saturday Sept. 20th at 2:00 sound to everyone? Papa do you know a good meeting location out there? Maybe somewhere we can have a late lunch?

yes, the 20th looks bad for me now too. LOL! Lets do it next weekend. What is the best day and time for everyone? I schedule my own hours so I can work with anything. Also this works better because my car was damaged at the car wash and its getting fixed on monday... Huge paint chip on the hood... but they are going to strip it down to the metal and re do the whole thing...

I'm out of town next weekend (Washington, D.C) so lets try the 4th of Oct. Start another thread announcing the event and that way people have 2 weeks to prepare. Should also help get a better group together for the run, just my 2 cents.

Papa, so what time is good for you for the test run? On the 4th what time is good for you guys? Persian are you gonna be able to make it on the test run this weekend?

Sometime in the morning is cool say about 10am? We can drive up and recon the site and then come back and post a thread with all the info on it.
Persian...no problem big dawg, we are just making a test run for the real thing on the 4th. Hopefully then with a two week run in we can get more members to make it.
