hey was wondering if anyone knew of any good car audio installation places in the southern cali area. i'm from orange county huntington beach ca to be exact. i'm looking for a good shop in either 714 area code, 562 area code or the los angeles area. perferably something close in my area would be good if anyone knows of any place that does a good job. had a few incidents where my friends went and they did a ****ty job. any help would be helpful thanks

It really all depends on how much you are willing to spend and what kind of quality you demand from the install. What are you installing and/or what are you looking to get done? Some of the more high quality shops around here in OC (I'm in Yorba Linda myself) are Xtreme Audio and Alarm in Anaheim and New Age Audio in Fullerton. However, I'm just warning you that you will probably pay extra for their expertise...they usually do high end installs and custom work. From my experience, however, you get what you pay for in the world of car audio installation. It may be worth spending a little extra $$$ to know that your install will be done right.

Another place I highly recommend is 818 Motoring which is run by a ClubLexus member here named: AudioGil. The same thing goes with 818 Motoring about those three factors.
Here are two ClubLexus Featured Cars that have custom-intensive car audio installations in their Lexus vehicles done by 818 Motoring.

I would go w/ 818 Motoring for sure. I know him personally and I'm getting some stuff done to my car as of now. His shop number is (818) 761-1617. Give him a call see what he can do for you.

Just curious...do they (818) only do extreme type installs? I mean, if I just want to upgrade the amps, build a custom box for the sub and change out the component speakers, will they do something like that?

Send me a PM of what you had in mind (equipment/install) and I will talk to Gilbert. I usually see him twice a week. Thanx
