Air only blowing thru a/c vents, no defrost, floor. What gives?

Air only blowing thru a/c vents, no defrost, floor. What gives?
Heat blows hot, a/c blows cold, but it only blows out the a/c vents. The heater control valve doesn't dictate where the air blows out, just whether it's warm or not correct? The vacuum lines on it appear fine. Where to look next?
