lol that pic explains it all. youll just need to remove some of the plastic panels to get to it. once you get everything off its just a matter of spraying it down. spray it down, leave it open for a while to let the brake cleaner evap off then reassemble and start the car. if that doesnt solve the problem try the method vjrc51 mentioned. the iac is right top dead center on the front of the motor. youll see it there.

it looks like the problem isnt with the IAC but with the EGR valve. looks like it may be stuck open which can also account for your erratic idle. As for the TPS, did you disconnect it or anything while you were cleaning the IAC?

Ok I still have the problem, gave these codes to a lexus mechanic, he also told me to replace the IAC valve,, did that ,, still have the oscillation ,, it only does it now and then
What Next?????

My car was pressure washed around the engine bay while it was getting some bodywork done.
The day i got it, just like the OP, the RPM was oscillating between 1000 and 1500.
Now when the car is started up, it idles at 1000 RPM when it's cold. Then when the engine is fully warmed up, it rises to 1200 RPM. In "D" at a full stop, the car idles at 800 rpm intead of the usual 400 RPM. Then, when you change gear to "P" or "N", the RPM shoots back up to 1200-1300 RPM. When i'm cuising around at 35mph, i don't even have to touch the gas. It just cruises along.
Does this sound like the Idle Motor? Or TPS? Or just a stuck open throttle plate?
