Default Tips // Help

I just recently bought my nxt project car, a 1996 sc300 shell. it’s missing a few things and I plan to build it out

I only need an engine, trans and ofc the modules and wire harness. Those parts, it’s just want to know if and I could fit a sc400 engine an trans with its ecu in the car before I buy a cheap 2jz and send it to a shop instead

pretty sure the shells are the same suspenion wise and i think subframe wise so either way should go. personally though I'd probably go with the 6 over the 1uz. I got a 96 SC400 and I'm feeling a Lil less love in terms of parts availability. plus that 6 can go auto or mans, users choice. 1uz is doable but still extra work to make it do. 2J's just get more love because the car everyone wants aint leaving $150k minimum anytime soon!
