Question Running Stock ECU Parallel with Standalone.

Hello, I've done a fair bit of research on the forum before making a post here. I am curious about how to run a standalone ECU in line with a stock one. I want to go with a Link G4x for my standalone. The reason I would be doing this is because I have a 98+ SC300 with DBW, this directly interferes with my FFIM installation and will not allow me to drive the car. Still, I would like my stock ECU to continue controlling the automatic trans and all other functions, A/C, etc. Does anyone have any good solutions or write-ups on how to do this? I'm sure someone has done this and I just need some expertise. Is there a harness I can buy that would achieve what I want or would I have to make one?

If there's a preexisting thread on this that I missed I would appreciate a link. Thank you.

Maybe this guy can help you out, I've linked a youtube video below, you can request specialized harnesses for a fee, or course.... he has a playlist of aftermarket ECUs and goes step by step sometimes. Creature comforts may be separate from the engine ECU... I'm not too familiar with all ECUs yet, but from later Toyotas they seem to have a separate ECU for most body functions to include air conditioning
