Default Alarm goes off by itself for no reason

The alarm on my 1998 sc300 goes off randomly in the middle of the night, any idea on what it can be or how to disable the whole alarm system

It could be a sticky /faulty door switch or hood switch. I can't recall off the top of my head if the rubber switch is by the door latch on the body on the SCs or if it's somewhere else. It's like that on the LS/RX etc. My LS400 back in the day had that issue and it was the switch in the door.

Do you mean it could be the rubber or the door jamb switch itself?? Thanks for the help
