Default Electrical glitches after alternator replacement

I have a 1992 SC400 with 128,000 miles.

yesterday I replaced my alternator and power steering pump as a leak from the pump took out my alternator. I noticed this when the alternator started smoking and smelling burnt out of nowhere. I unhooked the negative battery terminal and the smoke went away. As soon as I would connect the negative it would smoke again even with the car off. So I knew something shorted inside the alternator.

After replacing everything yesterday all was normal and in good shape and I drove my car 2 hours back home with the voltage reading perfect. This morning I go to the car and when insert my key in the ignition I hear the door chime but when I turn the key absolutely nothing happens. The gauges do not even turn on. My radio, sunroof, windows, tilt, power seats, do not work. My headlights and hazards and dome lights do work. Weird enough my daytime running lights and side markers don’t work. Battery is at 12.6v and secured and the power wire on alternator is also 12.6v. I checked all interior fuses all is good. I appreciate any help you guys give me. I greatly appreciate it and i hope everyone has a great weekend
