92 sc400 fuel pump won't shut off, car runs poorly
Hello,
this is intermittent, but sometimes when I shut the car off the fuel pump will stay running. I can hear hissing coming from the passenger side fuel rail. When this happens, the car will idle super low and will have like 25% power. Idle will also surge. Still drivable but i have to start in low gear and go to second to drive just to get going.
One of the previous owners did the fuel pump ecu delete by cutting 2 wires from the connector and connecting them. I redid the connection with a wire nut but it still happens. How could i fix this? This car is my daily so I wanna fix it soon.
