Hi guys, I just bought myself an SC400 earlier today. I was told that i needed a new relay and that to start the car for now I had to take the relay out and place a wire on both ends of where the relay should go. I replaced the relay but am having the same issue. Any ideas what could be causing this?

 

Following this thread. Helping a friend get his mother's SC400 running again, she's mid-stage Dementia and the car has sat for at least 4 years. Replaced dead battery, starter runs, but engine doesn't even hint at firing up.
