can a supra exhaust be used with the stock midpipe without any custom work for mounting/pipe length?

No.
The Supra and SC have very similar midpipes, where the primary cat resides, so those are interchangeable. The exhaust differs from thereon. A Supra catback would need several inches of piping welded into it for the extension... and then the exhaust hangers would need to be slightly relocated.
It will work, just need a couple mods...

Here's a link to a place that carries nice single exhausts for SCs.
http://www.gpsports-na.com/muffler.htm
I was thinking of getting an account with them for my shop if there was enough interest...

Yes, because they all (including supras NA + TT) have the same midpipe configuration....

theman- So in theory you could use a supra testpipe with the supra exhaust and everything would be hunky-dory then? (with the exception of the hangers, obviously)

To my understanding, the midpipes are similar if not identical but the catback for the supra is slightly shorter than the catback for the sc. Also, mounting points would be different.

Default what exhaust do u use with your NA-T?

All the NA-T supras can use the TT aftermarket exhausts. But NA-T SC300's don't have many options out there.....

got 70% of my NA-T kit in, still waiting on one box.

Debating what to do about the exhaust now......

(I have the down pipe and mid pipe)
but need to figure out the rest...
either just get hi-flow cats, and/or catbacks....

Wht do you guys use?
ANyone know any custom exhaust places in NY that won't charge an arm and a leg?
I heard some of the junk yard shops by shea stadium outside flushing is cheap, but I have yet to confirm this idependently

thanks
Ken

The TT supra exhausts also work on the SC, if you dont mind it coming out of only one side.

I bought the RS*R ExMag gt2 exhaust. I have yet to hear it, my engine is not in the car yet. But from what i know, you will probably need a 6 inch extension of piping to make the midpipe, and the exhaust meet.

There are also a few people here on CL that have supra TT exhaust on their NA-T's

so what do you guys think a single 80mm piping on a sc N/A would be ok or do you think you might lose to much back pressure? or would it be ok to use on a non turbo? oh an the noise issue would it be too loud because of the piping size or does noise level vary by brand or tip and canister size

thanks for the help ppl
