Question Supra's stock twin turbo on 5-sp SC300?

Has anyone ever installed Supra's stock twin turbo on 5-sp SC300? My friends removed stock twin turbo from his Supra to go with a more powerful turbo kit, and he'll sell the stock twin turbo to me for cheap if I want it. Please let me know whether it's possible or it costs much to get it installed on 5-sp SC. 50-100 more hp is great enough for me ... i am not a serious racer like you guys

do a search; this has been covered literally a thousand times over

you cannot use them; totally different bolt pattern on the exhaust manifold side; you'd need the head, the intake manifold; and every single item attached to the head as well
it would probably be a lot more expensive than a nice boostlogic, DaveH, or SP turbokit that can be had for relatively cheap; and will save you the hassle...

pulling an exhaust manifold and replacing it with a turbo is hella easier than pulling the whole head and diving into the wiring harness

Thanks, Bean!

Yes, I am looking for a "reliable" turbo kit. This kit doesn't need to provide a lot of boost (50-100 hp), and doesn't require me to replace many of my stock parts. Is there such a turbo kit? And I wonder whether Toyota service center would install it for me (for $)?

Anyway, it seems that no one uses supercharger on SC300. Why couldn'd that be an option?

Anyway, I did search ... a lot of searching, but couldn't find specific info.

supercharging is an option; but the motor was designed from the factory to be turbocharged... plus using a centrifugal blower, you wont make much power anyways; it wont spin up any faster than a turbo will

also boost does not equal horsepower... its airflow volume...

a turbokit is a turbokit; you're going to have to replace the same amount of parts either way... and no the toyota service center will not install a turbo kit for you..

you've got a lot of reading to do; go search; all of these questions have been answered before... if you didnt find the answers you didnt search correctly; there's a link in my sig where i outline my turbokit install
