Default new toys for the soarer

After sitting at work (best buy) and talking to my coworkers I have decided to skip the manual tranny swap for now and go ahead and get a full exhaust and tires.

By Sunday I should be the proud (hopefully) owner of a custom 3" exhaust from downpipe all the way back and the gunmetal GT-N's on the car. I'll take pics while i'm down in miami doing this and will upload them on sunday when i get back to gatorland.

wish me luck!

You work for Best Buy? I love that store. I've spent thousands on electronics there over the past year.

I do have a question: I heard that you guys aren't on commission, but some of your guys sure seem to be a bit pushy... especially with the service plan. Why is that? Is there some sort of spiff for selling service plans, or reaching a certain level of sales?

Good luck with the mods.

Best buy is not on any sort of comission or bonus or anything.

Service plan is good actually. I have one for EVERYTHING i have ever bought there (even b4 i worked there). Once i started working there I definately see how it pays off. Most of the payoff is from things like PDA's, Cel phones, laptops, digicams, and vacuum cleaners. Basically most of the items (except laptops) get replaced in the store (MOST, not all) for most technologically comprable model. Laptops are good cuz they replace dead batteries (which cost at around 100 bux anyway.

Just like any other big store thou, the more sales they get on stuff the better the store looks. From a sales perspective if you already bought something, then it's easier to sell you stuff for the item you are purchasing than making you buy something totally different to make you spend more. Be it accessories or service plans. In my honest opinion I would definately recommend service plans on anything. Besides they also treat you a lil better .

Sorry for the off my own topic plug... but...

I'm getting hankook tires to try em out... got a really good deal on em so we'll see. (I don't plan to do any road courses on this heavy *** car anyway).

i work for best buy too- he's exactly right with what he said. We make money off the plans (as a company), but it reall does benifet the customer as well. I got a service plan on my cell phone 2 months before i started working at best buy and they've already replaced it twice for me (two $200 phones for a $40 service plan) We do not get paid extra for things we sell- just a pat on the back and hopefully more hours

Dimcorner- what department are you in?

My GF thinks they suck and that they look ugly
They sound aggressive and VERY supra like.
