Ok ive saved up forever [2 years] to put money into my car. Its a 1992 sc400. My mom had it before me, it has had ALL checkups, oilchanges and maintenence. I need to know what good stuff can i bring to the nice v8 in there for around 3-4k.

Thanks in advance.

Depends what you are looking for Rims, Bodykits, more exterior things or under the hood things if its under the hood stuff, I would personally hold on for a couple of more months There will hopefully be a breakthrough in performance finally for the Much needed SC400. Everyone is getting touchy and impatient about the subject and one of the heavyweights will finally figure out a way to get more power from the 1UZFE. So just be aliitle bit more patient. EFI, Lextreme, Now even Hermosa has entered into the power race. Hope this helps. Meanwhile keep saving

Yeah maybe in a few years this supercharger we need will come in and be readily available to order and bolt right on. In the meantime, I just stick to driving my moms 99 civic sedan once a week to keep my SC400s performance absolutely thrilling

Default few things

ok i made a goal for my 400 to reach350 horses and a good amount of torque.ive looked all over the forums, and every turbo thread i saw , the kits were never made =( Besides catback, Intake, and i wish headers what is there to do to make the v8 have that much horse?and please without the cliche'd 200 nos lol. Tanx ^_^

I also read some stuff about torque converters [not sure bout those]
also can i get a 5 or 6 speed auto tranny for the car? anybody make em?

i have a goal too, to keep engine and tranny questions in the engine and tranny forum

I've moved it for you.

There has been so much discussion on TQ's and super chargers and such i find it hard to believe your questions aren't answered. Take a look around in THIS forum, dedicated to engines and trannies, and you will definately find what you wish.
