I have the down pipe and mid pipe from the toyomoto kit. (have the toyomoto log style manifold and to4)
Haven't installed anythign yet, just wondering what roadbloacks I might come across

Thanks
Ken

the dp and mp you have is it from a lexus? if so you should not have any issues.

I think gadgetsc's dp/mp was for a supra setup, which wont lineup with the sc exhaust most likely due to shortness.

Ed: correct me if im wrong. thanks..

Gazi, your exactly right.
I used a supra dp that replaced my catalytic converter. I had to cut it short to mate up to the SP setup. The supra dp was too long and had a 3 bolt flange. I cut the dp to the length that I wanted and found this shop that had the 3", 2 bolt flange that I needed welded to mate up to the 3" 2 bolt flange on me SP setup.
Hope this helps.

...Scott....why the switch to bar-and-plate?...
There are many reasons. The April 2003 issue of Turbo Magazine has a great article that describes the pros and cons of tube-and-fin versus bar-and-plate. I tried finding the article at turbomagazine.com, but it's not in their archives.

In my case, bar-and-plate is a better choice. It'll sustain higher boost levels and more importantly has less pressure drop. Tube-and-fin, however, is more efficient.

We give up enough pressure due to 2.5" IC piping for a FMIC; no need to contribute more to pressure drop due to a tube-and-fin core. And efficiency isn't as important as pressure drop because I'm going to be injecting a meth/water mix just prior to the TB to make up for efficiency.

One way to make up for all the piping is to use a top-to-bottom IC with inlet/outlets on the passenger side of the car. That would elimiate a lot of the plumbing. I honestly feel the spearco IC made for the mkiii is the perfect choice for our car: http://www.suprasport.com/suprasport...es/spearco.jpg Plus, I believe it's bar-and-plate; so, it's smaller size compared to other front mounts isn't an issue in terms of flow. However, it's probably not the "popular" (i.e. "cool looking") choice. Had I known this IC was out there, I would have used it.

I finally have all the components to turn some big numbers (manifold, driveline/clutch, IC, fuel, EMS, and ignition). A stout IC was the piece I was missing. Unfortunately, I'm starting from scratch rebuilding the car; so, it'll take some time to produce the numbers.

Here are some pictures installing the FMIC and a finished product. Note, the pic with the pipes is before it was finished being welded up.....
