Nobody makes a set of manifolds for the SC400...Nobody...You will have to custom One-Off the project. Mine will be done soon, and you will see the pics.

Just for example, on a TT V8 set up, you will have to design and fabricate the driver's side manifold so that each of the four runners angles up so that the manifold will flow over the AC compressor high enough to allow the down pipe to flow back under the manifold, over the compressor, and between the engine and the frame rail. You cannot run the down pipe under the K-Member, as you would crush the Dp as soon as you drive over your first speed bump, or just rip it off...

On the passenger side, you will need to place the turbo lower so that the intake pipe returning from the FMIC will clear the turbo. It's alot of work, but it should be awesome after it is completed...

Jerry,

I think the GT35R is the best turbo for the 1uzfe street/daily application. I would love to have a ball bearing turbo. I have a GT40 with .68 A/R. Spools at about 1,750 rpm. I am running around with 12.75 psi and would like to increase to 16.5 psi very soon.

Make sure u get an oil restrictor like .035" along with a wastegate spring that will be two psi above your desire boost. For example if you want to run 8 psi, then u should get a 10 psi spring.

thanks Lex
I already have that restrictor, it is screw in turbo. I know that bb do not like too much psi oil suply.
So I have restrictor.

about wastegates
I order two tial 38 mm set at about 5 psi.
Each will be for each 4 cylinder banks. I deffinetly do not want boost creep.
I order wgs with small 5 psi spring cause always can rise boost at boost controller.

Most worries is about tranny. I thinhing stock A340 do not last even 7 psi 1UZFE.
valve body from Australia or buy bellhousing adaptor and make it manual 154 from supra...
that is biggest dillema for me now.

Jerry

btw your turbo start making boost at 1750? at with rpms it have 7 psi?

7 psi would be around 3-3.5k. I never really record that psi. I plan to run twin GT35R on my SC470TT with .86 A/R. With the Tundra 4.7 Liter and ball bearing, i would expect spooling starts at around 3,500 rpm or so.

anyone tried twin GT32-55 turbos? TTurboPimp used it in his GS400TT, SRT-built. Spooled at 2800 rpm. He was running 19 psi and had somewhere around 550rwhp and 654 ftlbs of tq on 20" rims. He also had a 2800 stall TC, and a 3spd Th400 tranny.
