Rear end RTV sealant

Hi Everyone!

I'm going to change the rear end fluid this weekend and wanted to know what type of RTV sealant to use since we don't use a gasket. Thanks in Advance!

Will normal off the shelf Mobil 1 synthetic work ok?

Is this another "Toyota" only product? If so, what is the code/item number? The part's dep. isn't that great here in town

If your just changing fluid, you wont need any gasket sealant. Just an allen wrench. You will only need sealant if you are going to open the case, then you should use the copper sealant as suggested by Gazi.
