Default Need help

Im looking at a SC300 93 with 108k miles on it. I was looking under the hood and i noticed oil on the exhuast manifold and it was burning. More I got to looking at it I noticed the valve cover gasket was bad and oil was coming from it. As I looked down more towards the the bottom of the motor I noticed a nice little puddle of oil on the undercover thing for the motor. Would oil have dripped that far down just coming from the valve cover? Or is the head gasket and oil pan gasket leaking too? If you guys have had any similar problems please let me know. im suppose to give my final offer tomorrow. Thanks

Look like that is oil coming from the valve cover gaskets. Also check your distributor O-ring.

I had the same thing with my SC300. Me and my buddy changed out the distributor O-ring ($3 at the dealer and a simple repair) and then we changed out the valve cover gaskets (both sides, $44 from the dealer for both gaskets). Took the better part of a day but after that no more little puddles under my car, I still gotta get another undercarriage dusk cover as the hot oil that was leaking down caused mine to warp and now it looks saggy, like my car's an old lady with droopy ta-ta's...gotta get a lift for my girl! but can't seem to find that part anywhere...oh well...
