i wasnt expecting too much but i feel no off the line performance and the warning lights never came on before i installed the torque converter. but it costs too much money to find out for sure becuase the only way is to drop the transmission again

Just to give my 2 cents.

Does the PI torque converter give you more Horsepower? No
Will it give you more power off the line? Yes.
Why? Because when it engages the engine is at a more favorable part of the power curve.
